Who Should Certify?

Maintenance Technicians of all Trades, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation,  Mechanics, Electricians, Welders, Iron Workers, Millwrights or other skilled trades involved in Construction, Maintenance or Installation of Industrial Assets / Equipment,

Certification Scope:
Has a full understanding of Industrial Safety and Permitting.  Has a understnading of Failures and Failure Modes. Has a full understanding of the core principles of Reliability and Organizational Change Management.  Understands the financial impact of unscheduled downtime has on the company bottom line.  Contributes to creating Operational Asset Reliability through quality work and adherence to Best Practices.  Understands the need for Core Competence and how to operate effectively in a complex work environment by possessing a full knowledge of the Organizational Constraints which surround them.   Is trained and qualified to participate as a Team Member in the FMECA Systems Criticality Analysis and is prepared to do their part in RCM Implementation.

Post Certification Qualifications:

Qualified to participate in the FMECA process as well as helping to Design Effective Best Practices. where relevant to their Departments.  Qualified to execute their respective Trade Skills while keeping their work centered in Operational Reliability and critical thinking.

Recommended Prerequisites:

Candidates should be well adjusted to their current Trade and display a modicum of leadership and interest to learn,

Certification Requirements:
You must successfully Complete the Accredited Training Program for Certified Reliability Centered Maintenance Technician and Pass the CRCMT Examination with a score of 70% or better.
